The Athanasiadis Sar.
Sons & Co factory started
producing excavating chains
in 1978.
Since then, continuous improvements
an innovations, wich were based
on the long market's experience
have been done.
The result is a roburst an reliable
machine, suitable for digging
trenches, fast and almost costless,
for intallation of:
Irrigation piping, electric
or telephone cable piping, wetering
piping, draining piping etc.
The excavation chain is coupled
to the tractor. From the P.T.O.
of the tracktor power is transmitted
to the chain, witch therefore
starts rotating.
As soon as the rotating chain
touches the ground, digging
is starting by means of the
chain's knives.
Up and down motion of the chain
can be effected by means of
an hydraulic piston which is
coupled to the tracktor's hydraulic
system.
